Preschool Education

Abstract. Preschool education has undergone major transformations. The main change was promoted by 

the Federal Constitution and subsequently reaffirmed by Law of Guidelines and Bases - LDB, that 

establish early childhood education as the first stage of basic education and with this educational 

transformation, it became the focus of many discussions about its purpose and quality. To achieve the 

quality of early childhood education is necessary to take into account several aspects such as the 

management team, the training of teachers, the political pedagogical project, the curriculum, the 

organization of space and learn to respect the child's right. Thus, with investments in these areas, possibly 

institutions are offering a quality early childhood education.

The child has sensitivities and potentialities that need to be stimulated and developed, as well as sensitive periods to be properly addressed.  As she has an absorbing mind, early childhood education institutions must carefully plan and organize the classroom environment.
